DCAN Partners
Golightly Career Technical Center offers courses to DPSCD students in Information Technology,
Flight Training and Aviation Technology, Graphics & Printing Technology, Hospitality & Food Services, Baking & Pastry Arts and Welding & Cutting
Serve Foundation
Serve Detroit operates as a 10-week electrician pre-apprenticeship program 3 times a year with cohorts of 3-5 students. The program runs Monday through Thursday from 8am-4:30 PM. Serve Detroit operates out of Life Remodeled’s Durfee Innovation Society at 2470 Collingwood, Detroit.
Students wishing to be chosen for Serve Detroit must be residents of Detroit.
Volunteers of America Michigan
HPOG, is an innovative approach in providing education, training, support services, and job placement in the healthcare industry for hundreds of residents in Detroit and Wayne County. HPOG looks for participants nearing the end of receiving welfare benefits, with a focus on single moms with young children, and an additional focus on veterans.
Randolph CTC
Randolph Career Technical Center offers training for DPSCD students in Masonry, HVACR, Carpentry, Plumbing and Pipefitting, Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technology, Construction Electricity, Marketing, Painting and Decorating, and Welding for Construction Trades. There also offer adult education in the evenings!
